as i have one of each and i am unsure, how to burn these with cdrwin, e.g.

burn as cdrom or cdrom-xa, mode 1 or mode 2.

if you could help that would be great. thanks.

Well the mode1 2048 has 2048byte sectors and the mode1 2352 has 2352byte RAW sectors.

Obviously you burn the mode1 2048 as mode1 2048 and the mode1 2352 as mode1 2352.

i guess what i am trying to say is - is it normal to get games in in two different formats i.e. 2048 -2352 ?

if i remember write psx and dreamcast isos got burned at cdrom-xa and mode 2 , why are consoles different ?

and i think pc games are normally 2352 mode 1 , why was this one game i got 2048 ?

or can you anybody help me out with a site that could explain this stuff to me a little bit

cheers

It just means that one is a RAW image and the other is not. If a game is cracked (as BIN/CUE's usually are) then I guess it wouldn't matter, except that the 2048 would be a smaller download.
