NickiSixx Jun 04, 2003, 10:47 AM I have recently downloaded several files from various ftps. Every game I downloaded (which seems to be an iso)....I burn from the image with PrimoDVD (like I do successfully with all my original xbox burns). However, when i pop it into the xbox - it says the cdrw is "UNKNOWN" - I have successfully used the brand with my retail version backups. So, I figure I must be doing something wrong. I also tried using winrar to extract the files but that does not work either. ANY CLUES??? Thanks a lot for your help!
Is there anything else I should be doing to these files?

NickiSixx Jun 04, 2003, 11:22 PM I believe they are in iso form already. I tried extracting it with Xiso just now, but it says it doesnt correspond with Xiso. The file itself says its an iso file...just like when i use xiso to burn the image with PrimoDVD. Thats why i didnt think i had to do anything else. But apparently Im doing something wrong because not one single iso has worked.

p.s. - dont ask LOL. I cant get it to change to english - even when i choose ENGLISH in the language options

maybe you have an older version of xiso? Try the latest version, or even isobuster, if it wa smade as a data cd. Worst case, maybe the ISO is corrupt.
NickiSixx Jun 06, 2003, 12:02 PM i'll give it a try. I was looking for Xiso but cant find it. As for the ISO being corrupt, I doubt it - only because what are the chances that all 6 of the ISOs Ive DLed are corrupt?
