are datawrite 4 x red tops any good?, if not what are the best?

dont know about datawrites but it really depends on what drive u have.... i think fujifilm are the best but im cheap so i only use princo and ritek

i would use 4x anyways cause theres more chance to mess up the game w/ a faster burn... i burn all games at 1x

1. What DVD Drive you have in your XBOX (Philips, Thomson, Samsung)? 2. Have you tried playing movie backups with this particular media on your XBOX? On the second one it isn't 100% but generally speaking if your XBOX won't play a movie that is on a certain disc then it probably won't play a game on the same media. Fujifilm discs are VERY GOOD. However the cost is prohibitive. When they are on sale the Fujifilms cost about twice as much as my Ritek discs (both burn at 2x). I have used both Fujifilm and Ritek and there is virtually no difference except cost. I hope this helps
