Hi guys I bought this xbox of one of the guys on the bst secure forum, and he has partitoned the drives roughly 4.8gb on E and 2.3 on the f drive- obviosuly this means i can't put metal gear solid on it-
a) is there a way of removing the f partition so i have one partition of 7+ gb
b) if ican wil that block me from playing xbox live etc?

I'm not sure where that extra 1 gb has gone as well (i have c drive according to the slayer skin v2.0 which has 370 megs free space is the rest taken up by apps etc?

cheers for the help guys

ok mate, the satandard xbox hard drives are roughly 8 gig, some of them are 10gigs but when u get them in a fresh (unmodded box) the f drive is not partitioned/formatted, so even if you got the 10 giger, the box will still only use 8 gig, what the guys done , who you bought it off is reformat the drive so that you gain the extra 2.whatever gig of space, the layout of the partitions, is nothing to do with the guy, thats just the way they are, and also the way they have to be as far as i know, your only option to play mgs2 from the hdd is to put a bigger drive in, (save n go for the 120 giger), when the fresh drive is installed the f partition is always the free amount of space left after the xbox system partitions have been formatted to their correct sizes, ok mate hope this helps
