How can I turn my MP3 soundtrack that is created when I ripp a movie from Satellite, into a Digital soundtrack that my amp will reconise without having to select anologue. I know that it will still be in stereo, I'm not trying to create 5.1 or anything.

Thanks,

You mean you want it as AC3? If you have an nForce MB then it can do it on the fly. Otherwise just use BeSweet or softencode to re-encode it.

nVIDIA's motherboard chipset. nforce2 would also I guess do realtime AC3 encoding.

As I understand it though not all nforce based MB's actually use nVIDIA's audio chipset.

I don't think I have a nforce chipset.

Do you have the full titles of the software so I can have a look for them.

Many thanks.

As above, BeSweet (free) or Sonic Foundry Softencode (not free, and no longer sold).

try www.doom9.net for BeSweet.
