in the game "Enter The Matrix" there are video clips from the movie which, while using an xiso tool, are located under the folders "MOVIES->FMV". each file has a "*.VID" extension. i am able to extract all of the VID files to my winXP machine, but i cannot seem to locate any codec which will play them.

does anyone know what video format they are in?

This exact question was asked very recently. I think we came to the conclusion that the format is not playable on a PC however there was some part of the game that allowed you to watch the video sequences again in game. Try doing a search for it.

i've got no problem playing them thru the xbox. just wondering if there was a PC port of the movie player in the game...
