Hey, I finished installing a Matrix chip, and when I start the XBox, there isn't any video, and I hear a monotone beep("BEEEEEP") then I see the power led light shut off. 2 Seconds later it powers on again and I hear a second monotone beep. Then the leds shut off again. Finally, it powers on yet again and has the green LED around the open cd button flashing red/green(no beep this time). Could someone tell me what's going on? Please help me out-thanks....maybe something wasn't put bck right when I was reassembling the XBOX? Anyone heard of this?

When this happened to me it turned out to be a bad flash. After re-flashing it with a good BIOS it worked fine. I also had a Matrix chip, and experienced the exact same thing you did.

Cool, thanks-does the bios usually have a different screen when it boots the system, or is it the same as a normal xbox? Also, how do I know if I have a good bios? Please email me at thatsincredible@hotmail.com if possible.

normal screen till u put in a new dash.... i had the same problem as that to the first install i did but it had nuttin to do w/ my bios... it was the lil gray wire on my xecuter not being connected all the way... but im not shure how exactly the matrix works
