Sup ppl. Can anyone help?

I've got a US PS2 just want to be able to play original jap imports (mostly CDs, silver ones) on my ps2 w/o no modchip.

Do both of these methods work with imports? [My friend told me that the Knife Trick & Magic Swap CD works with silver imports].

I've already taken the CD Tray Cover off my ps2 - you think this Slide Card will be better for me?

You can play backups of imports with that method.

You can play original import DVD's using Swap Magic and the knife trick. Just remember that Swap Magic can only boot PS2 games. If you wanna play PSX backups/imports, you'll need a modchip. The Slide Card is nice, but you can easily make your own using an old credit card. Just follow these instructions (http://ps2.consolevision.com/knife.shtml) and use these instructions and use the included template. Worked great for me!
