Today, PS2Ownz anounounced that a new Boot Disk called Zoneloader will be comming for PS2 very soon. It is said to boot all games for all versions, even version 7.

By All games, I'm sure it doesn't mean DVD-Rips over 630mb, but All games with double protection, NTSC/PAL selector, and others that wont boot with Swap Magic. Hopefully, it will have some built-in features like Gameshark or something extra.

The Price and Arrival time are unknown right now, but expect the price at about $30.

If you want to buy Swap Magic disks, you may want to wait.;)

Will it be just like pop it in and boot then swap, or does it require a knife trick or flip top lid?

with this book this u need a mod chip or is it like the ps1 boot disc ?

if you have a mod chip that defeats the purpose of a boot disk

So if you need to do the knife trick then it's not a true boot disc.... when will that ever happen? Like I've said all along, it will never happen. (oh well I have a GS2 and Region-X discs if I want to swap trick) :cool:

Its not made for a Boot Disk, its made to solve the problems with Swap Magic now playing all games.

A ture boot disk will never come.
