Not true that only Clone CD can copy it.. With the right hardware BlindWrite, CD Mate and The Cloner should all be able to copy it.. CDR DAO should also work as well as some other programs probably.

The CD is supposed to contain read errors, that is part of SafeDisc2.

On our CloneCD forum will you will notice that even our Moderators are a little in panic. The latest SafeDisc version seems to have beaten CloneCD, even it's AWS function and is causing troubles with almost all burners except the Lite-On's:

Posted by FutureProof:

SD2 Revision 2.51.021 is defeating all SD2 burners (correct EFM encoding of regular bit patterns) except the Lite-On LTR-24102B and it's 32x cousin the LTR-3123S. The Amplify Weak Sectors option in Clone has also been defeated (for the time being).

Burners with Philips chipsets (God bless the Dutch) are also defeated. Acers seem to be out of luck too.

2.51.021 is found on Medal Of Honor - Allied Asault (MOHAA)

More SafeDisc version 2.51.xx information...

Our appreciated Moderator FutureProof has posted some new information regarding the new SafeDisc 2 version 2.51 on our forum:

The latest SD Revision has caused the burning community a bit of trouble lately but I suspect things are not as bad as first thought. Well it seems as though a pattern is emerging. From what I can gather not every SD2 capable burner has been done over altogether.

The following burners have reported success that work in other devices:

Lite-On LTR 12102B, 24x & 32x

Plextor PX-1210A 1610A & 2410A

LG GCE-8160B

Philips PCRW-804K/B (Atapi)

Acer CRW-1208A

SafeDisc 2 defeated (again) ?

A few days ago we reported about a new SafeDisc 2 version that had seen the light

This is a new modified version of BetaBlocker in order to defeat latest SD2 v2.51...Just drag and drop a CloneCD image and press "Patch". Afterwards burn the image with CloneCD and it should work.
Note that almost only LiteOn 12x/24x recorders can backup newest SD2 titles without the use of this new BetaBlocker version...

You can download this new/modified BetaBlocker version

Which version of betablocker were you using?? Because there was a modified version released esp. for SD v2.51.021.

Also it is quite possible that your burner simply isn't capable of making a working 1:1 copy.

I was using the version of betablocker from the above link, also i have a LG GCE-8160b ...every one tells me that its capable of making 1:1 copies.
Im new at all this so im not sure.

I can play the game using a crack i downloaded, but i would rather burn a fully working copy if its possible!
its frustrating me not being able to do it!

I copied it fine with Clone CD, using a Plextor 1210s to read and an Acer 1208 to write. Read at max speed with FES enabled on 0 retries in software mode and wrote at Max Speed with Buffer underrun protection and always close last session enabled.

I can't see any difference between this version of SD2 and previous ones.

i think the new sd2 cloned games cannot be played from a burner so try a cdrom drive

i have successfully copied it twice on a gateway pc. not sure of the type of burner that comes with this gateway pc, but it is about 6 months old
I have windows XP installed as the OS and used Clone CD version 3.051
have copied it three times with no problems

the one thing I thought was wierd when copying it, the buffers go full like they do when copying anything with clone and then it sits there for about 30 seconds and then the buffers get flushed and it copies fine.
Buffers are at 0 percent and it copies fine, I use COPY ON THE FLY

I have a LG hl-dt-st gce-8160b burner too but I upgraded my firmware to 2.01 and I can copy Safedisc2 no prob!! Works great the only thing is it takes a while for that burner to do it properly. One game called real war takes up to 5 hours! Most other SD2 games take 15-20 min to read at 40x.

One question what crack do you install with? My friend copied me MOHAA so it's not a 1:1 copy and I need some sort of installer.

Real War is not protected with SD2.
