steve54 Jun 24, 2003, 06:16 PM if u have been using cdg to avi which i think u mean, you then have to use, tmpge encoder to join the avi and mp3 files to a compatible mpeg file for vcd.there is a full run down on karaoke playground telling u how to.

Baz318 Jun 24, 2003, 06:27 PM ah yes m8,thanks,but i know that, i have mpeg file waitin here to go on disc, only probs is that it comes our really bad, skips like mad,and the images are just..dire..see the first few words maybe and then more or less nothing =(
steve54 Jun 25, 2003, 04:10 AM is the origional grphics file ok which u used to convert to the avi file and what setting did u use with cdg to avi.
bridans Jun 27, 2003, 08:24 AM hi,
when you convert with cdg2vcd, tick the box that says 'show output video' so you can see if the original quality is ok.
if it is then play the file in media player(the mpeg after conversion) to see if the mpeg quality is ok.
if they are both fine then the problem will be nero, so what version nero is it?
hope that helps.

Lowndsy Jun 27, 2003, 10:20 AM What speed are you burning at? Maybe you could try changing media and/or lowering the speed right down? I'm sure you thought of that already though.
Baz318 Jul 04, 2003, 11:22 PM I am using Nero yeah 5.5.10.20 and burning and the lowest speed I can,and yes, I do view the output file while being converted and yes I do check it in windows media player, but once i burn to disc, its just rotton.
As I mentioned, the sound is like a messed up walkie talkie and the video is worse than channel 5 on a good day, I cant even make the images/words out. shows a few blocks of stuff...argh...just a total mess. and I'm fed up paying this guy to do it for me, cost too much.
I'm at my wits end, I have everything I need, but it aint working..what you thinks guys?...gove up or keep tryin? =S
