Can anyone please help ?

I am trying to back up a backup of a film that's 4490 meg in size using my Pioneer 105. Nero is telling me that my blank dvd-r is only 4489 capacity and therefore won't burn it.
I've tried Datawrite Yellow x1, Datawrite Red x4 and Superior White x2 and they all do the same.
I've also tried Stomp Record Now Max and that says the same, that there is not enough space on the disc.
So my conclusion is that it must be the Pioneer drive.

Has anyone else experienced such a problem or can anyone suggest a cure.

I'm using the latest Nero and firmware 1.33

Can I 'overburn'.
If so.......how ???

Well 4.7*10^9/1024^2=4482MB's so 4489 is already 7MB's over.

Why don't you just trim a small amount off?

Programs like IC7, DVD2One, DVD Shrink, DVD Copy Xpress allow you to trim or compress.

Should be OK, just to trim the last VOB.
