ok, trying to convert this vcd over. when I watch it in its original state, it reads 2 hours 6 minutes 50 seconds. When I rip it with DVD Decrytor, both the m2v and ac3 files read 2 hours 6 minutes 50 seconds. Checked with Bitnrate viewer - 29.97 f/sec

ok. After I put it through TMPGEnc - the m2v reads 2 hours 6 minutes 50 seconds. (With the "Do not framerate conversion" checked and unchecked, both times) After 29.97 pulldown, it reads 2 hours 6 minutes 50 seconds.

When I put th m2v in Maestro or SpruceUp, the m2v reads about 2 hours 38 minutes. While the ac3 reads 2 hours 6 minutes 50 seconds.

??? Any Ideas How To Fix This ???

Has something to do with the 2:3 pulldown, gotta figure it out

Your title says VCD to DVD but your post doesn't seem to match? You do not rip VCD's with DVD Decrypter, VCD's do not contain MPEG2 or AC3 streams.

I just did my first VCD (2disc movie) to DVD conversion using isobuster, TMPGenc & Spruce Up and it worked first time.

If you can't get a fix on your specific problem, let me know & I'll post the details so you can give it a try.

Mate what you have written makes no sense to your thread name, vcds are a max of 80mins per 700mb cd, sounds like you are ripping a dvd so why would you have to convert it to dvd? think you better re-think what you have written and explain again.

sorry. Its from a DVD-R but its not in like a DVD format. Its authored like a DVD, but I think its CVD maybe. While in IFOedit it says 720x480 the vob's are actually 352x480. And this wont play on some DVD players, so, I'm tryin to get this to work. I don even want to use TMPGEnc, quality was bad and jumpy.
