Hi, apologies for asking a dumb question but I'm fairly new to this DVD stuff....
I have YAMADA DVD PLAYER DVD-2100 and it plays original DVD's very good, but when I try to play a backup copy then the picture is slightly jittery (sound is perfect!). On my home PC DVD player I don't have any issues at all.....

So I think it's the Media I am using ... but I have either "Traxdata" or white label media.... And not all backups are effected..... but most are.

So is it the Media? Is this a common problem? Or does anyone think its the player - if so is there anything I can do.... laser alignment?!

Any help or information would most appreciated.

Thanks

Okay what software program(s) are you using to make your backups? Also which type of discs seem to have more problems?

Ahh..... hmmm.... I didn't make the backups myself and they are a mixture of unbranded white and silvers with the Traxdata.... I wouldn't say one was less troublesome than the other. Which makes me feel it could be DVD player related, but then why play originals perfectly????

I guess the answer is make sure I'm using good quality media?!
