Win dvd 4 and power dvd 4 are saying to lover the screen res but when I do I still cant play dvd's on my ao5 drive....oh yeah and my drive still wont write at 4x.

I think ya gotta update your ASPI layering on the drive that doesnt play. If that doesnt work trying un-installing, and re-installing your MPEG-2 codec.
