What should i buy for blank dvd-r's for a Denon ADV-700. Right now i am using accru and dvd-pro's but they skip once in a while. I burn with NERO. Could that be the problem.

Also i have a sanyo dvd plyer hooked to the Denon receiver so i can watch movies without them skipping. But i can't get surround sound out of the movies. Why is this. Is there a way to do this.

Thanks for any information

What program are you using to compress and/or reauthor your DVDs with?
Yes it sounds like it is the media. If you don't mind spending a little bit more you can go with the Ritek DVD-R discs which are about as good as they get for compatibility. If they are out you could also try Verbatim or Fujifilm and they should work just as well as the Riteks (although they will be a bit more expensive).

Not really I use DVD Shrink 2.3 for all movies that are too big to fit on a single disc so I'm afraid I won't be much help for DVD2ONE. You might want to give DVD Shrink 2.3 a shot though as the program is free.
