i had an iomega external cd burner at it never made a bad disk. So i have had a great experience with their product. The burner has lasted over 2 yrs now.

I've been running an iomega internal CDRW drive for well over a year w/out any issues, hope this helps :)

Don't think that Iomega make any of their CDRW/DVDRW products, they just rebadge. So Zim Hosein, your CDRW may very well be a Plextor.

I think LG was the one coming out with a +R/-R/RAM drive, so perhaps Iomega is using that?

Sometimes OEM's get the drives first, such as when I think TDK released a 52X Lite-On CDRW before Lite-On did.
