Sorry to bring this up once more but im really stuck following advice from this forum on how to connect my pc to my xbox ive installed a second nic card got a crossover cable changed my xbox settings to use a static ip configured my nic card downloaded flashfxp set the settings there now all i get is "connection failed connection timed out" and every so often the xbox powers off but its fine normally! please any ideas?

check in the evox settings and see if it detects a connection.
