Im trying to encode from xvid to dvd format with tmpgenc. The movie im trying to work with is Shanghai Knights. IT has video but the audio is not selected when I enter the video.

Also the movie does not play with audio in WMP? I have also got two ther files, a .SUB file and a .idx file, neither of these will be accepted by tmpgenc as audio?

What am i doing wrong?

The .sub and .idx are subtitle files. Really can't be bothered looking up the info, but I would say with almost 100% confidance that the file uses AC3 audio.

So just encode the video only with TMPGEnc and then demux the AC3 from the AVI and use it as is.
