Ok so i'm havin a bit of trouble with mp3 discs and would appreciate a helping hand.

Here goes..
I've got a samsung drive, upped hd, exec2, xbmp2.3 ..ie. everything i need on the box.
The thing is that burnt audio discs will work >>they open in the microsoft player,
however, when i use the same type discs to burn mp3 cds, the box won't recognise the disc!?

So, i could load on audio in wav form i suppose but that takes too much hd space (especially with 1000 songs).
So how do i get my mp3 discs to work? I'd like a nice playlist of songs in xbmp. spose that goes with pics n movies as well.

also ,what sort of programs can i put in "my programs"?

ftp the mp3 into the harddrive

u need to edit the xbmp config file to tell where your music is store

example - mine's config is like this

<music>
harddrive - f:\media\music

that is where all my songs are store
