On Sunday, I was viewing some vacation pictures using the CD burner drive included (a Samsung SW-240B) with the PC. A file download via the phone modem completed, resulting in the PC hanging up on me. Multiple selections of the ESC or CTRL-ALT-DEL keys got no response. As a last resort, I hit the eject button, on the CD burner. The software freed up, but the CD burner would not recognize that or any other CD anymore. The DVD-Rom I installed several days earlier reads, plays and recognizes CDs and DVDs just fine. I tried unistalling and reinstalling the drivers and also made sure I had the latest software. None of those things worked. I have also searched the internet and Microsoft help and have not yet found a solution. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
