Becuase there is a better chance that the higher the speed you burn, the more chance it will mess up, so its always better to burn at a slower speed. Try reburning at 1x speed, it should only take 15-20 mins. Also the media has a part to play in there somewhere, so quailty media also..ie..Ritek, verbatim.

I use 4 speed ritek and they work fine at 4 for me ,they actually seem to run better when burnt at 4 ,compared to when i burn them at 1.

When i burnt them at 1 they not load properly for me but at 4 they was fine ,but that was on my ps2 , aint seen how they run at 1 on my xbox yet,cos i normally do em at 4.

Yeah the 4x Riteks do seem to do a very good job at 4x. If you are going the 4x route I would definitely recommend a high quality media (Ritek, Verbatim, ect.).

Use good media...like above Riteks at 4x are fine...crappier cheapos don't always work
