Hi, I have made an iso use xiso and copied back to dvd+rw. Iam just wondering if xbox can read +rw or +r as my dvd writer is + not -. Also does the game need patching? How do i know if it does or not?

search and you should get better result! if you say you copied on to dvd+rw, then why don't you try it in xbox. I had no problem with + or - DVDr. But with rw sometimes i need to reload the disc twice by pressing the eject.

Most new games if not probably all new games that are comming out don't work if you have old bios. Only X2 4976 and 4977 bios works. otherwise you'll need to patch them. http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=240171

I had the same problem, try usine ISOCraxtion, go to the tools button at the top menu, and select XBE Patcher. patch every XBE file on the disc, it might give you an error and shutdown, restart program until you find all the ebx files that need patching , most likely there all in the front folder and usually only one, some games have more. This program is easy and effective.

I'm pretty sure this is built with the xbox SDK. So you cannot request it. If its not then, it will be OK!

I just backed it up last night, use hex workshop, and search for the string and change the 7D to EB, make the iso and burn to disk. It worked like a charm. You can find the string your looking for in the sticky folder - games that require patches.
