dont know if it is the media or the burner or the program, but i might be the media since it always happen with that brand memorex dvd or cd could the hp burner not like that brand? i did burn some on that brand before that works though. then once i got write error, invalid write state,could not perform end track,session fixation error,could not perform fixation,

It's possible. If it only fails with that brand then use a different one.
