Use Fdisk to remove all partitions

Sounds to me like you set up partitions with XP that were NTFS and you now can't see them using Windows 98, not an uncommon problem on this board of late. If this is the case then FDISK won't even be able to see the NTFS partition. Though I do wonder how you managed to get XP off of your C partition and put 98 on, perhaps you left C as FAT32 ??? You need to post up some info.

Anyway, if the problem is an NTFS partition then what you need to do is read the REMOVING AN NTFS PARTITION (http://www.win.net/optimator/WinWiz/qanda-4.htm) bit at the bottom of this page and follow the instructions.

If its something else, post up again with a clearer description of your problem.
