View Full Version : cdg to vcd using cdg2vcd help help

hi there will anyone tell me what i might be doing wrong ?

ive got program called cdg2vcd reg ver i convert in batch mode its great

and i burn with nero compile vcd

it works fine in a philips cdi player with vcd cartridge

or could some one tell me if thay have converted with cdg2vcd burned it with nero and it has played on there jvc player

when i put it in jvc xl-sv22bk it come up black sceen and the audio sounds
broken up

see in nero could it be the cdi files in vcd that wont let it play on jvc player

in nero it says wee box that you can tick (use cdi application)
and create a standard comlant cd
or could it be the menu in nero in vcd
would it matter what format i use pal /ntsc on nero in the batch converter i used pal and in nero i use pal

but it still wont play


i dont know what iam doing wrong

all is want is for my cdg is converted to vcd and play on my jvc xl-sv22bk

it should not be a problem...
will your jvc play vcds???
what version nero are you using?

Check your owner's manual ... never mind... I have it here...

Specs for your JVC Player: http://books.jvcservice.com/download/270485188/17836.pdf

On page 5 / 24 under "CD's You Can't Playback", it states "Do no playback CDrom, DVD, or CDi's on this equipment..."

Some JVC models have trouble reading burned disks. You are doing things correctly... it is your equipment that is letting you down. Try another brand of CDRom, or since it does support CD+G, why not burn your karaoke disk as a CD+G instead?

THANKS,,, GUYS IVE SORTED IT ALL OUT NOW

I OPENED MY JVC PLAYER AND ADJUSTED THE POT ON THE CD LAZER LENS
THAY PLAY FINE NOW
