I am using the swap magic disks in combination with the slide card. It works fine until i bought a copy of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.

After reading a few messages on this board i saw that the problem was that the TOC of MK DA is just a little bigger than the TOC of the swap magic boot disk (I really should check this forum before i buy a backup game).

Does anyone know if there is a bootdisc with a bigger TOC then Swap (4,36 GB or bigger) or does anyone know who makes the swap magic disks.

MKDA works fine with my system. I use the Swap Magic DVD disc to boot.

True the Toc on Mortal Kombat is a little bigger than the swap magic dvd but it still works. I have the swap magic discs w/ slide card on a v1 USA.

Swap Magic does boot MKDA.

Well, I tried the MKDA copy on a modded ps2 (messiah) of a friend of mine and it worked great, but it still won't boot with the slide card + swap magic disc i have got.

I don't know what the problem could be.

wen i boot some games wit swap magic i get a pink boarder come up and it freezes any ideas?

Your PS2 might not like that particular dvd what brand is the disk?
If the disk has a smudge or scratch some PS2s are a little more pickier than others

pink border means cd is not locked in place

use cdloader after the swap magic disk. it will work. i tried it

So if they boot up DVD-r games, what is zoneland supposed to be able to do that swap magic can't? Also does it work with the knife trick OR do i need a no-solder mod?
