hi, i just bought the original us version of suikoden 3 and i want to play it on a pal V3 ps2. I have a no solder modchip and swap magic but the game won't boot. First question, can i really play an original import with my configuration or can i only play backups. Second question, is it possible to play suikoden 3 without changing my configuration ( backup, cd-loader, ...).

I thought you should be able to do that, if you can't there's always a Gameshark you can use

nah i dont think you can boot import originals on a ps2 from a different region/country thing :)

the only way i can think of thatll prob do it is to boot it as thought it was an ntsc backup using a double swap with an ar2 and a high toc original
