I have tried the guide on RichardC's guides that allows extras and menu to be copied using DVD Decrypter, Make it Easy, IFO Edit and DVD2One. Both movies i tried to back up failed. Does it matter that Im using dvd+r media when the guides all say DVD-R?

Other question I have is, can anyone link me to another guide that allows extras and menus to be kept? Also I am making the image with nero and burning the image with alcohol is that ok?

You can use dvd shrink, its free, and it keeps the menus and extras, go to google and do a search for dvd shrink, you will find a few places to download it from.

i've always used nero with no problems i also use dvd shrink good for keeping all the extras
