Can anyone tell me what this is or what it means? When I yse DVD Decryptor occasionally it will finish the burn process abd then just hang and not give me the completed message. It just continually says synchronizing cache. If I cancel the operation at this point will it affect the disc in any way?

yes it will affect the burning process. let the program do it's work or better still use nero.........

Can anyone give me a better explanation, it only happens sometimes. The disc IS through burning. The drive has stopped doing anywork. After all discs burn it soends about 30 seconds synchronizing the cache. However occasionally it will just give the the message indefinitly. I have canceled after waiting 4 hours and the disc seemed to be fine, just trying to figure out what its doing and why.
