A real newbie question, how would I rename a .mp2 stream to a .mpa stream?. Is it as simple as just right clicking the file and Rename?

Indiana Jones Jul 09, 2003, 07:46 PM Dont know about .mp2-.mpa but when I do SVCD to DVD I always rename the .mpa to .mp2 and it is then recognised in mp3-wav converter programs so it probaley is as easy as just renaming it, why not try it? spankthemonkeys Jul 09, 2003, 08:09 PM if i can ask a divy question, but how did you rename? celtic_druid Jul 09, 2003, 10:30 PM ren *.mp2 *.mpa or just disable the hiding of either all know or just mp2 file extentions in windows, then just rename as per usual. If you don't disable the hiding of the extentions and rename in windows then you would end up with whatever.mpa.mp2 instead of whatever.mpa. spankthemonkeys Jul 10, 2003, 05:06 AM thanks celtic_druid that did the trick :D |
