Does anyone know of any DVDS which feature copy protection such as the content scrambling system in the uk as I want to see if it is possible to copy a copy protected disk.

What do you exactly mean as all retail dvds come with protection, just use SmartRipper or similar to remove it.

Well not all retails. Some are unencrypted.

As said though, most do and people have been copying/ripping them for years. So WHITE_STEEL I think your experiment is somewhat redundant.

Sorry i should have gone into more detail, what I meant was that i want to use Intervideo dvd copy to convert a dvd to fit on a dvdr but it won't allow me to convert, copy protected dvds. I have tried using anydvd by elby but it is still showing up as a copy protected disk on Intervideo dvdcopy is there any program which will remove the copy protection on Interdvd copy.

Well that doesn't sound at all like the orignal post. However I would have to go with what Indiana Jones said. Just rip it to your HD, if the program won't open files, then you would need to rip it to an image and mount it.

As for AnyDVD, which version did you try? Because there have been quite a few updates to it recently.
