Hi,

I want to get the music from concert-DVD's I own on CD, to be able to play them in my car or on my stereo. But somehow when I rip the DVD and extract the sound, it always sounds worse than when heard from the DVD. There must be a way to get the same sound-quality on CD, but I haven't been able to find it.

My recent attempt was to rip the chapter of the DVD with DVD-decrypter and then convert the pcm-tract to wave-stereo with Be Sweet. But the result sounds less spacial and with Cooledit, I see that the wav-file consist of almost all levels to the top, instead of a normal range. I don't know how to describe the last part well, but I hope you 'll know what I mean.

Is there a guide available that I can follow to get perfect sounds extraction, or can somebody give me advise on this?

Thanks in advance!

You can't have the same quality on a regular audio CD. Audio CD's are 44.1KHz, DVD's are 48KHz.
