A little annoying, I seem to have found something to recover every type of password apart from this :(

Basically I have forgotten what the password is in Internet Explorer for a site I use quite often. Internet Explorer remembers it as a cached password (one of the ones it says 'do you want it to remember auctomatically').

It is all good and well when I want to access the site on that PC, but I would also like to access it when I am away, I have no record of it and can't find a remind password option

So basically I need something which can either remove the little st**rs or access the passord somehow :)

I am running Win2000 and IE6.

If you can help, post below or e-mail me :)

Cheers

Robert

I might have a little program that will do it for you.

I will try to get it and mail it to you this afternoon. It is freeware, but it appears to no longer be available online. I will send it if I have it. It is called Snadboy's Revelation. It shows you Dial-Up Networking passwords I know, and I thing it does most other too. Not sure though. I will mail it if I have it. :D

Hey,

I have it. It is version 2.0 that you need. It has a "bullseye" when you run the program, you go to the website and let IE fill in the "stars"

While the stars are there, drag the bullseye over ths stars and the program will reveal the password. Just tested it and it works.

I'll be mailing you the program in just a minute.

Enjoy. And post here to let me know how it goes/

EDIT - I am at a friend's and his mail serv er is screwed up. I'll email you as soon as I get home in a few hours. If you search for the program, you may find it online somewhere. You want version 2. Version 1.1 might waork, but I don't know. I know version 2 does though.

I'll email you as soon as I get home!
