I'm following instructions from this site: http://www.samods.com/index.php?cmd=article&aid=91 to extract the starcraft character animations from their dat file. Once extracted, i'm going to convert the images to gif(animated) so i can use it for my aim buddy icon. What software will allow me to convert standstill images to gif? Thanks for any replies.

you should be able to make animated gifs with Paint Shop Pro (http://www.jasc.com/)

k, I used coffecup gif animater. it works great..but i'm gonna have to play with it to trim the images to less than 7kb.
