i know newsgroups are meant to be the best but can u give me the address of some newsgroup sites that i can look at . could u also list some sites that you have used.

well, we cant give direct links to d/ls thats against the rules.. but try mirc, ftps and kazaa can also work if ur desperate

Yes, definitely mIRC. It's about the fastest way to get giant applications, media, and games. For music, stick with kazaa lite.

I knew of a search engine for simplification of the mIRC program, called ircspy.com. Might wanna try that out.

ircspy sucks, just makes it easier for people like the R1AA to get involved, i think you need to go to some p2p portal such as Zeropaid (www.zeropaid.com) and Unitethecows (www.unitethecows.com) unitethecows has only just got back up and running though. There's now Kazaa K++ and Kazaa Lite i believe the 2 programmers fell out :(
