Hi guys been burning iso's on nero onto cd-r/cd-rw fine for a couple of weeks now and everything's been fine.
Just bought a pioneer 105, and updated nero to 5.5.10.44 (i think). Went to burn a 4.2 gb multi game iso created by craxation and nero came up with the error that the iso file format can be only 2gb max (ISO 9660 standard)

I'm currently trying to burn it as a udf file format (and if all goes well i'll stick to this method), but is this generally the case with all writing software? ISO's > 2gb have to written in UDF format?

What OS are you using?, Sounds like your using a hard drive with a fat32 partition system, you will need to format it to ntfs to bypass the 2gig limits.

no the pc is running xp with an ntfs file system

I can create the iso fine- nero just won't let me burn it.

Let my clarify the situation, I'm testing the drive with a dvd-rw, when i do the normal (non wizard method) i pick dvd iso (the first one on the list when you click on new burn), you end up with the 2 screens the left one being the dvd and the right being your hard drive- the error comes up when i drag and drop the iso onto the dvd window.

when i do it with the wizard it seems to work- but i didn't have the proper gdfimage.exe file in the correct craxaction folder (put in the gnugdfimage.exe- my mistake).

So while i try and locate the proper gdfimage.exe file i'm trying it with a normal game iso- but on the wizard there is no option to finalise the dvd so not sure if the dvd-rw will be finalised after the burn

ok it worked if i used the burning wizard but now got nero 6- excellent- works a treat either way and also, the dvd movies i burned with them are also dvd compliant and work on the xbox as well as my 2yr old panasonic rv31 player
