I want to run it off the HD but it kicks me back to evo dash everytime. I read that new protection needs to be patched but I could not find the hex codes mentioned in the sticky on this forum, ADR Patch 0.5 finds nothing, and I cant get Craxtion to run.

What else can I try?, this is the PAL version. My files are from an Origional DVD of the game.

When you say you cant find the string code, how did you search for it? If you have hex workshop in edit--> find, enter the string code and click search. I always find it that way.

I used winhex, and I used the search feature and it returns 0 results. Might checkout hex workshop and see if that helps.

I dont know if PAL string code is any different than NTSC, but I believe its the same. I sure someone will let us know.

Also, make sure you have IN GAME RESET turned off, that might also be a problem.

aside from IGR turned off, what bios are you running? nobody should have ANY problems with most ALL games if they're using the new x2 4977.

Use the ADR Patch 0.5 with the updated database file will patch the new media protection.
