Okay i have the rars for fatal frame here.
Smartpar says all files are okay.
But winrar keeps on giving me a error on file 20.
Deleted file 20 got a par file,made a new file 20..
Still winrar ****s it up.
Even after i got the latest version, atleast to my knowledge 3.20 is pretty new.

What the hell could i do to get this iso unrared...
Before i hang myself here :0

mate it could be that the guy screwed up the rarring of the file- i had a problem similar to that- chalk it up to bad luck and wait till someone else releases it on newsgroups-

what are the files names? its always good practice to only d/l the original groups rars from when the game was released. Repacks can sometimes be a pain in the A$$.

Chances are that the RAR was corrupt when he made the PAR files, so even smartPAR will construct a bad file.

Have you tried repairing the .rar

I remember back in the dreamcast days I would often get corrupt .rar, but when repaired they would work perfect try that, and if all else fails try dl it again ;-)

you can also try power archiver -->sp? I was having the same problem as well and used this new little program and it took care of it..... also try to get a different set of par's. I was getting a corrupt file in one that I d/l'ed and it kept saying that it was okay, but would not unrar. so for SAG's I d/l'ed a different par set and deleted the corrupt file, it replaced it, then I ran the original posters par set and it checked out and it unpacked.... just something to try as it sucks to waste the files if you do not have to.
