Has anyone ever rented a game and brought it home to only NOT work? This happens to me all of the time. It is because MovieGallery puts disgusting labels on their games. Most of the time these labels are applied by teenage workers who don't realize airbubbles will make the game uneven and render useless! Lucky I have a burner!

don't play games that have labels on them. it will make the weight of the dvd unbalence and can damage your laser.

Most videostores have been wise and removed the labels that rub against the top of your videogame console. Seems this place that you visit hasn't gotten the word yet. See if you can't get a bunch of people to go in and complain about it.

you can also try to counter balance it with tape on the other side.... I would have to do this with psx games as the place had security labels on them and they weighed enough to make them spin lop-sided.

I told my BB store to not put labels on them anymore & they don't. Funny, they don't write on the disks anymore either so how they know what disk went in what exact box is a mystery.....I guess they don't mind that part.

just take the sticker off and tell them it wouldn't play in your ps2 with it on, they can't do anything about it.

Umm most video stores have magnets in them that destroy the discs if you try to remove them. They will charge you a hefty fee to replace the disc.

Once someone gave me a game they had gotten from BB. I removed the metal part off the game and it never worked again lol.
I noticed they stopped writing and putting labels on the games.

You store must be out of date, mine puts no labels & no writing on the games.
Are you picking old games? That's probably it, they haven't updated those yet. Also do you look at the disk before taking it out of the store?
