im very noob, i just wanna know if it's normal to have an unknown version of bios when using bios checker in evox cuz it also tell me that i have d(something)blue bios bur my evox is runny fine. i think that's the reason i can't boot Memorex or TDK DVDR. i tried to upgrade the bios from the SlayerCD via TSOP but it keep saying "erasing" forever... (i have samsung DVDrom)...(matrix chip LPC)

if it says bios unknown that's not anything. evox.ini is missing the md5 for you bios.. it won't affect anything at all. it's just an evox thing for pretty.

i think the bios is your problem. not the media. you def. need to upgrade to x2 4977 it's the latest x2 bios. it just happens to be the backups on that media that won't load because of newer media checks and what not. so, if you can get past all that and upgrade your bios, you should be golden. I was unaware you could flash the tsop in evox??? what modchip do you have? or is that your mod? a flashed tsop?

i have matrix modchip, i was asking how do i update my modchip bios using evox without opening up the xbox (isn't that TSOP?), can i update bios via evox with matrix? if so how? plzz answer
