The same thing happened to me today. Well sort of. I downloaded the Evolution Dashboard, burned the iso and then put the CD in the XBOX. Everything seemed to work fine, but now I am having the same problem you are. The thing won't boot up and when I get it to by some miracle it freezes at the main load screen. I have the disc with the dashboard on it, but it won't load. I don't know what to do now. I need some serious help, hahaha. Thanks.

WHat bios do you guys have. If your using the cromwell linux bios your gonna have problems getting evox to work. You might need to flash.

i burnt slayers auto install onto dvdr and put it in my xbox, but it still doesnt load it. the xbox when u press the (dvd eject button) the red light still flashes and occasionally green, when u press the power button it goes green and then powers off automatically.
i asked my friend what he did to it, and he recalls it said something like flash bios, and he pressed it and it deleted it or something.
whats the best way for me to fix this now? please help

If its flashing red and green and powers off sounds like a bios problem.
What chip/bios have you got installed.
If he's flashed the onboard bios then the TSOP will need to be reflashed. If its a chip it will need to be taken out and replaced. An LPC chip is easy enough to do.
I can take the TSOP off and reprogam it along with the LPC chip
