u have to use something to decryp the encryption of the dvd. like dvd decryptor , so that u can put it on your pc then u need to (never used it before i dont know if it makes a mpeg file) if it makes it into a mpeg file u need xbmp configurd right, all u need to do is put it in a folder calld videos or what ever u have setup in the xbmp config. an the start xbmp an chose whatever folder u used an your done.
hope i help a bit . hope i dint open a can of worms for ya

don't know what your trying to to with mpeg maker etc!!!

dvd decryptor will rip the *.vob files then transfer them to xbox HD then use XBMP to run them vob files.

even easier if you use dvd2xbox, it will rip the DVD movies to xbox's HD then watch them from XBMP...

i think the default setting in XBMP (Latest v2.4_cvs_compile_xbins_7-19-03) is e:\videos but you can put it anywhere, Run XBMP, choose "My Videos", "HDD" and browse any folders where your video files are.
