How come when I use a datawrite black bottomed cdr in my Liteon x40 re-writter the audio , when played back on my hifi jitters, the first track is always ok, it starts on track 2 and the following tracks also have this fault...is it the discs I am using,or some settings in nero need changed.

have u tried lowering your writing speed

This is happening at different speeds I have tried as slow as X8 and as fast a X40,but I normally select X24 for these black ones

has your writer got the latest firmware upgrade
