File : 710 Mb (710 Mb), duration 2:57:17, type AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality 40 %

Video : 588 Mb, 464 Kbps, 25.0 fps, res. 720*576 (4:3), DIV3 = DivX ;-) MPEG-4 (Low-Motion), unsupported

Audio : 121 Mb, 96 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 2 chan., 0x55 = MPEG Layer-3, supported

This is the info i get when i open a file into AVIcodec.
The video section is unsupported although i have divx video v 4.0 installed.
When i try to open the file in tmpgenc i get the unsupported error. I have made the directshow priority about 2 or more but still get the error.

I think it might be something to do with resolution but am not too sure to be honest.

If someone can help me i'd appreciate it.

Thanks

For DIV3 all you need is DivX311alpha, DivX5.xx or ffvfw.

But with 720x576 25fps @ 464 kbps DivX3 the quality must be really crap.

DivX4 supported DivX3 at least for directshow playback, so I guess in theory it should work.
