There's no real way to do it other then to pry the key off...but then what do you do when you need to press the caps lock key?

If your huge hands are always accidently hitting the Caps Lock key what other keys are you also accidently hitting? Are you going to disable them too?

Why not just learn to type? ;)

A better idea I think is to buy a regular sized USB keyboard to hook up to your laptop's USB port, so you didn't HAVE to use the dinky keyboard that comes with the laptop. I just purchased a Microsort Natural Elite USB keyboard (just like the one I use on my desktop PC) and it's made a LOAD of difference. I do medical transcription for about 10 hours every day so the ergonomic keyboard really works (and it would be PERFECT for somebody with big hands/fingers)

thanks guys, but what about when I bring the thing with me places and have to use the keyboard on the laptop? and thanks first guy for being a dick about things. I hit some other things too, but mostly I can hit backspace to get rid of it. I know there has to be something out there, I certainly dont wanna have to pry it off though, because that would just look like crap.

hmmm...that is a quandary I think. I take my USB keyboard with me and I can use it at hotels and the like when I travel, or outside on my patio or anywhere else I can put it on a table to use, but in places like train or airplane seats, where there isn't room to use the USB, I imagine it would be awkward.

Sorry I couldn't help you any better.

you can get bendy/fold up rubber keyboards

they are small/big and fold up inside your case

I haven't tried this, but it seems worth a try. AntiCapsLock (http://www.orionsoft.cz/anticapslock/) You can try it for free, however to save the settings every time you reboot, it will need to be registered and costs $10. There is also a way to edit your registry to disable it, however I'm not familiar with it.
