i've burned twice from different sources, last one was from "miracle". but my problem is turning on "Owner's Mode" because it is greyed out when starting a new franchise? they both burned successfully via nero. any suggestions? i appreciate it. fyi, i also burned both at 16x. could that play a factor in this. one more thing, when i want to create a play it locks up when it loads up on that mode.

you have to go thru pre-season first. once the regular season starts, the Ownders Mode pops up.

hmmm, but if you go thru madden 101 and click on "owner's mode", Al michaels tells you that when you first select "New franchise", owner's mode should be on, and there i would like to customize my divisions, etc. bottom line is, owner's mode is greyed out and i can't enable it. is this what happen to you? thank you very much for your help.

yup, when i first start it is greyed out. when i exit preseason and start the year I am able to select it. Never did much with it tho....

hmmm, i'll have to check it out... this is how it worked for me... I started a franchise with my hometown and favorite team, the Detroit Lions (I know, feel sorry for me) and did the training camp and simulated the preseason. When it asked me to start the regular season, I clicked on yes... and I was able to select the owners mode at the franchise main menu

^^^ yea, thats how it goes. and the training camp is pretty good this year, it just sucks that you can only use the player once. plus, i like the fact that you can have like 8 jerseys at one time, no more looking at the same jersey every game.

btw, why the hell would you want to change your prices and stuff for preseason games??

Ok. i just picked up on something you said. Owners mode is on when you first select "owners mode". The "on" he is referring to is the "on" in the menu before you get into the actually franchise part. You know the menu where you pick your team, coach, fantasy draft, etc., owners mode will be defaulted as "on ". Other than that you can't access owners mode until: after preseason (there are alot more options @ the end of the season). Hopefully that clears your confusion. :tup:

thanks, but if owner's mode was "on" at that specific menu, should the "customise divisions" be present also? now, i got to where Bosstone was mentioning about after preseason, but what i really want to do is customize my divisions.

Just go thru preseason and it's all good.
