Word,
I have burned the ISO and I boot it in my XBOX. The Slayers menu shows up and I follow the steps:

(B) Setting-Up a V1.0 or V1.1 XBOX with a Retail HD and a MOD chip that's always ON.
( This option will "NOT" format the HDD before installing anything )

0) Verify you have completed the Pre-Steps at the top of this document!
1) Select option (5) then select (5-2) follow the prompts This will install everything EXCEPT the M$ Live Dash.
2) Once the process is complete, Remove the Installer media and power OFF
3) Power ON & verify that the EvoX Dashboard Starts-up & you're looking at a menu system
and the SlaYers 2.1 background.
4) Scroll down to "System Management" and select the "M$ Dashboard"
5) If you get Error 21 you will have to restore from your backup of the C:
drive 3 files and overwrite the ones on the Xbox HD in C: The files are:
xboxdash.xbe (which you'll need to copy and rename to msxboxdash.xbe), Memory2.xip and
default.xip if they are from a NON Live M$ dash and If you have a Live M$ dash then you will need to
copy the folders xboxdashdata.10027100, xodash, and the files xboxdash.xbe,(which you'll need to copy
and rename to msxboxdash.xbe), settings_adoc.xip.

6) Verify the rest of the applications start up OK. You are Done! Enjoy!

The problem is that when I remove the disc and power off and then on, It goes to the Microsoft dashboard. It seems like it did nothing. It is supposed to go to the EVOX dashboard, but mine doesn't. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

When using slayers the best thing to do is wipe everything out and start from scratch. Back up the C and E drives , then go to format hD. Once that is done go to build retail hd for v1.x and select your version. Then go to instal evox, let that do its thing, then reboot. Power on the xbox and you should go into the evox dash if you did everything right. Then, make sure the link to the ms dash works, then set up an ftp and ftp over your udata file and edata files from the e drive (those are your saves). That should do it.
