I've got a version 1 xbox with a egnimah chip, the one where you must do the reset trick to get the games to work, anyway after about an hour of game play if I was turn my xbox off, it won't come back on!!:eek: I used to just unplug it hit the power button and plug it in and I was good but now that doesn't work.:confused: Is it dirty or statring to over heat or is it head to the great gaming system in the sky?!

Well, the first thing that strikes me is that the power supply is dead.

Maybe someone with that chip will tell you that there is a problem with it, but I think its the PSU.

i agree...plus a new chip might be in order soon anyways
