I am planning on buying a Pioneer dvd burner but I dont know what the difference is between a 106 and an A06, if there is one. And I would like to know what an OEM is too.
Thanks and sorry if this has already been posted but i looked for it and could not find it.

One is an OEM, the other is Retail.
Retail= It comes in a box with all the software and accessories, screws, cables, maybe even a dvd-r, etc..
OEM= Bare drive.

Honestly the only real difference is that the retail drive comes with some software. If you look around you can find that software for dirt cheap. Your computer should already have the EIDE cable that you need to hook it up and the screws to hold the drive in place shouldn't cost more than $2.
